I'd like to bone up on my car prior to receiving it. I don't suppose there is anywhere online where I could find the Prius user manual? The closest thing I could locate was the reference guide when I signed up at http://www.toyotaownersonline.com/ and 99% of that I already knew.

Its somewhat funny that Toyota doesn't have it PDFed somewhere. A geek car that is green only has their user manual available in hardcopy...

ps- yah I know about John's user guide. Good stuff.

I don't know of any owner's manual on the net.
However, John has an excellent Prius User Guide at:

Yes, the manual is available online at:

    http://techinfo.toyota.com/

    Subscription is $10.00/day or $50.00/month

Manual will be in PDF format in 39 sections (that's what I downloaded, but I don't recall if I obtained all of them.)

Download will go very quickly if you have a decent connection to internet.

I found the free users guide to be of more help than the manual

As did I! the manual explains the menial stuff that every car manual explains, where as John's user guides go into detail about the things most people are actually interested in when getting a new car. I can't think of any info in the manual that isn't also covered in the user guide that i would have wanted to know about prior to buying the car.

:) One more vote for John's "manual." Go to "User Info - User Guide H" which covers the 2004-2006 Prius.

I have the owner's manual for 2004 model in PDF. I obtained the PDFs from Techinfo and stitched them together. Also have the NAV manual stitched together in PDF.
It was going to be available here for donating subscribers, but with all the crashes, it didn't pan out.
