Any help - MFD Repair on defective 04 Prius?

    The notoroius MFD "Check the air conditioner connection" malfunction has plagued my car.

    MFD issues on '04/'05 Prius

    Has anyone successfully soldered the MFD unit display board in Hobbit's write up and is willing to lend a helping hand? I live in the Los Angeles Area (Lakewood) and work in Orange County (Newport Beach).

    If nobody responds to your plea soon, consider that a good TV repair shop (or maybe a computer repair place too) should be able to handle the job for you if you provide them with a copy of Hobbit's instructions.
