Any trusted hybrid mechanics in Tampa Bay Area?

    I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good hybrid mechanic in the Tampa Bay area. I know these cars can be tricky for just any mechanic to work on so I want to make sure I’m going somewhere good where they’re honest and know what they’re doing. I know that’s probably a lot to ask LOL

    call todd at tampa hybrids. not sure if he works on gen 2, but if not, perhaps he can point you in the right direction.

    So this just happened.... sigh, I’ll be happy if this car just last a couple years without any more issues until I can Get a new one

    If you’re gonna take the car to him I would probably call and make an appointment before hand. They are pretty busy. I bought my 2008 off of him and it’s been great. 283k miles on it.

    And I agree that you should call first. The number on the contact page is his cell. If he's busy with a customer, he won't answer, but if you leave a text with a brief explanation, he's good about calling back. As I said in your other thread, he's my go-to guy when I'm stumped or need stuff.
