Anybody Replaced Foam to Get Rid of Spare?

Hi all! I'm a newb, but I'm considering either a very clean 2016 Two with 102k for 16.5k or a slightly more worn 2022 L Eco with 73k (a lot for two years!) with the CPO for 21.5k. The second one was a fleet vehicle. Not sure what could rack up so many miles!
I am a upright bass player and my bass fits on it's side with the extra few inches that the Eco's lack of spare tire gives. That gives me much more room for more equipment.
I have two questions-
Which car seems like a better idea?
Has anyone put the foam from the tire repair kit setup in a Prius that had the spare? I know that's the opposite of what people want from searching the forums.
