I'm looking for a very specific part -- the little strap that goes through the floor and you pull on it to access the spare tire area.

It's a very long story that I won't bore you with, but I don't want to fabricate this part (clearly I could) and I don't want to use some sort of substitute. I want the genuine OEM version. Again, a long story, but I go through about one of these per year or two (the sewn loop inside the car breaks).

I've purchase these in the past by finding an entire floor on eBay or elsewhere and then negotiated down, but obviously most people don't want to sell just this part.

If you are going to a junk yard or U-Pull-It anyway, you'd be SHOCKED at what I would pay for this. If you are actually going, hit me up.

Attached are an inside and outside photo of the part, thanks to Mendel Leisk

I did call the stealership. They would be glad to order the part for me. It comes as a set with with the box and is only $476.33.

I didn't find anything called a "very" but... I did spend a good 15 minutes searching for that webbing handle in your picture but can't find it sold individually, only sold with the rest of the cover and cheapest price I found was $69: Toyota Prius 2010-15 Trunk Floor Board Cover Access Cover OEM Spare Tire Gray | eBay

Also, I keep a well organized junk collection and got a whole box of different type of webbing and if I was working on your car I'd probably make you a replacement and not tell you about it, nor charge you for it because I like to surprise people with extra free stuff when I work on their car. :)

Buy some webbing and make your own or just scavenge a strap from some bag. Cut off a length, singe the ends with a cigarette lighter, burn a hole through the two looped ends with a nail held with a vise grip and burn the hole through both ends for the screw.

Most sportsman stores like REI carry webbing that is more durable than the OEM loop.

He said he has a long story that he won't bore us with that explains why non OEM won't work... I don't know about you, but I want to read the story.

    It's called OCD.

If he wants it that bad, he'd bite the bullet and buy the complete panel from the dealer.

PM me a mailing address. I have one sitting on my odds and ends shelf, it even still has the screw stuck in it. I'll also be hitting the local upullit this weekend and can grab some additonal ones if you'd like.

If that's true, I especially love long stories about OCD motivated behavior. It always makes me feel less bad about my own OCD issues. :)

They got multiple Gen3 at u-pull-it in your region? I'm impressed. Haven't heard of that for Gen3, only Gen2.

Currently one Gen 2 and one Gen 3 at my local Pull-a-part. In addition, although I have not put my hands on different car model truck covers, I'd be willing to bet a beer that Toyota has like 4 trillion of these tabs installed on a variety of different vehicles.

I know for fact the pull tab used on the Gen 2 spare tire cover is identical to the pull tab used on the cubby cover on the left side of the trunk.

LKQ here in Central North Carolina either Greensboro Raleigh-Durham or Garner always has a couple of Gen 3's or V's and usually numerous generation twos they usually call me as they come in I have a person at each one of those yards and when they're on duty and they're getting ready to put out especially the generation twos they will text me and let me know usually send a picture they also know what I'm generally looking for if there is a whole car that comes in that they think I need to fool with they call me before they even start marking on it and usually I will buy it or one of my buddies will want it etc.
