Anyone in New England area have your Prius modified with a plug-in system?
I'd like to know the best price for someone to install the system.

I have a 2010 Gen 3, I have been in contact with "PICC" (Plug In Conversions), they are still testing their 12.5KW Lithium pack, and it will be another few months before it will be available for sale. BTW, they have no installers on the east coast yet, and it's possible I may become an installer, we'll see. Also, the PICC conversion is the most expensive and highest quality conversion available (estimate $13.5K), not the cheapest. It has full EV up to 70MPH, has blended, and pure EV modes, and has all high quality parts (Brussa charger, eLithium BMS, etc), it's a far cry from the "Enginer" system, which I would not bother with.

news story on them: Gold Peak Plugs into Plug-In Conversions

There is a thread in this subforum already on this conversion:
