Try one of the online auto shoppping sites like, lowquoteauto or autobytel. You can get a quote, have it emailed and use it for bargining with dealers close to home. It can work! Right now you should be able to get the pkg 5 for well under 25,000.

I too am looking for an '07 base model with option package #5. I've sent emails to several L.A. county fleet reps at the deaelrships and have gotten a few quotes (not including tax/license)

Reply #1 (window sticker $26,276, invoice $24,374) their offer: $23,424
    Reply #2 offer $24,399

I'm still waiting for more replies, but so far I'm liking the sound of offer #1

    Lowest I got for a Package 5 Touring 2007 was 25700 - I took the deal from a dealership offering 26100 -

They gave me warm and fuzzies and asked me if I wanted water.

I paid 25,350 for my magnetic grey '07 with package 5, all floor mats, cargo net, and dealer installed window tint. I'm in Orlando florida, but got it in Sanford florida (just 20 miles north of Orlando). Good Luck.

Pola, I'm beginning to think that before you decide to buy, the 2008 models will be out.

Make a decision. Nobody here is going to take any responsibility for your decision. It's your money. Call dealers, bargain, and buy.

Silver (Basic), pkge 5, mats, cargo net, toyoguard (xy7), paid $24.8K (+tax & tag). Dealer doc fee is included in the $24.8K. I bought at end of April, last Saturday, coincident with NFL draft day (slower sales perhaps?).

Are the doc and tire fees BS charges that dealers try to throw on in California (like here) or are they fees that everyone must pay regardless?
