I was wondering if there is a way to reprogram the key or car to allow the 2019 Prius aWD LE smartkey open doors when near any door rather than just the driver door?

Only the front door handles have the sensors on them to detect a hand behind them, so you can't use the rear handles with smart entry.

Whether you have the sensors and antennas necessary near the passenger door, will depend on what trim level you purchased. Some vehicles only allow smart entry via the driver's door.

EDIT: Above is based on my 2017. May be different on the newer models of course.

Thanks...if the sensors aren't on each door handle (they aren't on my trip) i guess a hack to the smartkey wouldn't grant the ability for proximity to any door to open all 4 doors - hadn't thought of that.

I believe LE trims comes with 1 door SKS. As stated the sensor is located only on the driver side front door. If you opted for higher trims, 3 doors SKS will allow opening passenger side front door and the hatch door, but conversion is not easy. I wouldn't say it's impossible, but would not be cheap or easy.
