    So, I have a Flickr photostream, with some local color types of photos on it, and an Australian online magazine selected one of my photos to illustrate a river festival in QLD.

    I'm the first photo: Schmap! Australia
    It's titled "Away they go!" if it isn't up already, in the right-hand column.

    I thought Patsparks might have seen me there :D

    Stick around up there mate, I'll be up that way at the end of the month so I'll pop in. I have a 6000km motorbike ride to Townsville about 800km north of Brisbane (Pronounces Brizbun or Brizban if you wanna sound like an Aussie)

    I got the same thing awhile back from the same folks! They chose some really bizarre selections from my trip to Oz. Yes, the photos were taken in Australia but they certainly didn't represent the best of my collection.

    One of the candidates was this shot of the landing strip at Lady Elliot Island (for inclusion in the Brisbane section, no less. Quite the stunner, no? :
