    Good Evening,
My 2006 Toyota Prius needs a replacement battery. It has only done 80,000 miles . How would I go about appealing to Toyota UK for assistance ? Has anyone here been in a similar situation and had success?
    Thank you

It's 8yrs which can be extended up to 11yrs if you have an annual hybrid battery health check. It's had one every year up until last year . I bought the car 14 months ago and didn't know about the required check. I also rather naively trusted the seller when he told me the warranty was 150000 miles. People who seem trustworthy don't always tell the truth. Duh.

I'm paying for a new battery. £1475. Instead of £45 which would have been the cost of a health check if I had known about it. Ouch.
