... rare sight indeed, you don't see this everyday, darling of the FerrariChat.com, headed for the gray bar motel, for an adjoining room with lonesome, misunderstood Bubba (snicker-snicker):

High profile democrat, here's betting you coffee and a pack of Camels he'll be out, 18 months. Five gets you ten he gets himself tatted up, born to lose tattoos down both arms (heh-heh) - Sammy, '04 Ruthiemobile

You really dumb enough to think he's a "high profile Democrat?" More like a disgraced celebrity lawyer that long ago when he was in law school was one of Rahm Emanuel's henchman in election smear campaigns back when Rahm had the most dirt on members of congress so Goldman Sachs & their billionaire friends told Obama he had to be his chief of staff so they could continue to control the direction the country was going... Avanatti would of never been convicted in multiple cases had he maintained his political connections after laws school, but he didn't!

Are you saying that he is going to get a pardon or commutation before the current Administration is done? Or part of the conviction overturned or sentence reduced on appeal? Or something else rather drastic?

This is a federal conviction and sentence, not state. Unlike states that often let convicts out vastly earlier than their sentence, federal convicts can get only a 15% discount for good behavior. That means they must serve at least 85% of their sentence, which for this case means 11.9 years.

There is an additional discount for releases that land on weekends and holidays, as the release departments don't work those days, so move it up to the last business day before. I seem to remember Felicity Huffman getting out 3 days early for this, which might have amounted to a 21% discount on her 14-day sentence, but would be at best a 0.06% discount for Avenetti's term.

And his new sentence runs consecutively, not concurrently, with 5 years of sentences on a couple other federal convictions. Unless he can get some future judge to change these to concurrent sentences, or get exonerated on something, he'll be away for at least 16 years, with good behavior.

If Avenatti had any goodies to trade, I think he would have offered them by now. So I reckon he's 'in' for a long time.

Ever since he tried to catch Nike in a corruption scandal that would of earned him tens of millions backfired all his favors he could call in have turned into the opposite of that. Nike is far more connected than him when it comes to political crimes & corruption and he's gonna have lots of time to think about that.
