Alright, to clarify It takes 8-8.3 gallons to fill up each time, I am not a speed limit driver all the time. So I do my math off of my trip meter which is about 341 divided by 8, now sometimes it's a little less or more, I think I've filled it up 3 times now, about to be the 3th since getting it a month ago.

726 mile round trip this weekend. 46 mpg at 75-80 mph. (calculated mpg by miles driven and gallons of gas used)

Yep. Lifetime 52 mpg in our '04 from when we got it used with 40k until we sold it with 220k.

This makes me wish I purchased another gen2 Prius as opposed to another alh Volkswagen TDi. 750 miles a tank but no better than 5 dollars a gallon.

2007 original owner here with original HV battery and 299,500 miles. I was getting low mpg before I got a tube up: iridium spark plugs, engine air filter, cleaned MAF intake abs throttle body plus replaced serpentine belt just in case.

I have had the p0420 for some time.

and after the tune up, I got 52 mpg on a 369 miles RT trip with some hills and taking back roads vs highways. No heater. But have my winter tires on and they usually make mpg drop!

Also I have been using expensive gasoline for months (93).

    good luck!

Can I ask if there's a reason for using 93? You might find 89 gives just as good results.
