Just got off the phone with the dealership. During the second inspection of my Prius, as small crack in the taillight was discovered. It's going to be fixed, of course, but it's going to take a bit of time: rather than picking up my Prius in an hour and a half, I'll now have to wait until Tuesday evening.

Sigh. I feel like Christmas has been postponed by five days.

That makes no sense, you can still pick up the car, you just go back next week for a new tail light, the crack probably doesn't prevent it from working.

Is there a crack in the taillight or the dealer's integrity?

oye... (I thought you originally said last Mon? lol)

anyway, at least it's getting fixed. Mine had a few boo boos that weren't detected by the PDI (or ignored??) and I had to go back several times to get it fixed.

Yeah, I initially thought it would be Monday, but it took a little while, apparently, for a vehicle to be located. Monday, we got the VIN, the prep was supposed to occur Tuesday/Wednesday, with the pick-up today.

Ah well, all good things come to those who wait, I guess.
