    This October my local community college is offering a new automotive mechanics's non-credit course on hybrids.
    How might one determine if it was worth the effort/time?


    Below is the course catalog description:


    TTG508 - Introduction to Hybrid Electric Vehicles
    Three 4-hour-sessions/ $175

    This technical course is design to train the
    working automotive service repair technician or
    the automotive technology student how to safely
    work on Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV's). Course
    will cover safety, testing, and replacement of
    Hybrid components, along with diagonsis, testing,
    repair of the vehicle as it relates to hybrid
    component malfunctions.
