Does anyone know what the thread size is on the Aux. Battery Post in the engine compartment? I want to add
an extender so I can grab it with a standard battery pack.

I bought a nut so I could put another connector for a ham radio without removing power to the car. I remember it was metric, but that's all. I drove to a hardware store that I knew had the metric nuts (Ace Hardware). took one off the battery post without removing the battery clamp, and took it in to match it. Good luck!

Right behind the threaded post is a large tab. It is designed so that you can clamp your battery jump cable to it. Works for me. ( I also considered an extender for the stud before I noticed the tab.)
