Auxiliary Battery. Do I have to buy one from Toyota or can I buy a off brand from Walmart?

    My battery is S46B24R toyota battery.
    Can I find the equivalent of this battery at Walmart?
    I need to buy one asap (tomorrow) in Ithaca, NY.

    Pep Boys in Syracuse might have a Bosch brand AGM batery on sale for $152 + tax with free installation.
    I bought the same 12V battery from Pep Boys six years ago - good battery, no issues.

    A Michigan store price is shown below. Should be the same in Syracuse if you want to make the drive

    Beats Toyota's installed price by at least $150. Walmart doesn't sell the AGM battery for the Gen 2.

    you can buy one anywhere, but it has to be an exact fit, and accept a vent tube.
