When there are spaces- I usually come out to see a Prius next to mine or close... course maybe because it seems every 10th car is a Prius in Southern California...

They're pretty ubiquitous (thanks firefox spell checker) here in Seattle too. A while back I joined a similar Prius threesome in the local Safeway parking lot.

 

I usually make an effort to park next to another Prius if there is a spot. I figure the two cars can gossip while I shop. Can you imagine what kind of conversations they would have?

Thanks for the tip. I'm trying to find the 3M stuff, too. I tried Ace hardware and the "Helpful Hardware Man" told me I should be able to get it at an auto parts store. I'm searching again today - good to know the bug and tar remover is a second option.

Something is wrong with my brain. I cannot see the wheels on the Blue Prius.
All three G2 on the close side look to have stock rims.

If the Blue G1 has TC rims, wouldn't that be nearly enough to explain why it is only getting 38 MPG?

My big concern is that we need better integration between the G1 and G2 crowds. G1s are our elders, and should be respected, rather than being forced to park on the other side of the isle, away from the young floks. I am sure the young can lear loads from the more experienced G1.


Edit - Oops, after reading again, I now realize that the conversation between the Red and Blue Prius was quoted from a different set of Prius parked together.

Whenever I see another Prius, I try to park next to it.

I also still wave at Prii on the road... no one waves back... they must not all be members of PC.

hey thats the same thing or even more if youve ever been to berkeley... you know what sucks tho...there are so many barcelona reds out there that whenever i see one that is newer than mine, i get really angry at the person for making such a pretty, unique color seem so common! dont u ever have that feeling of "ohh i have something you don't" and then suddenly everyone else does...
