Just purchased 2010 lll w/ Nav and back-up cam. Although the cam works fine it doesn't show a grid. I drove a 2008 w/ cam and that did show a grid. The salesman stated some camera's did show it and others don't. Anyone familiar with this inconsistency or is there an adjustment in the settings that can be accessed to create the grid?

welcome! if you drove a 2008 prius with grid, it must have been aftermarket. prius has never had a grid, not sure about gen 4.

The Prius for the US market does not have the grid while the Prius made for EU market have the grid. Weird if you ask me. I miss the grid a lot.

The grid is metric. You can't have it. ;)

I bought an OEM-style back up camera for the Prius Two. The grid is there, but if you don't want it, they tell you to clip one of the wires. Makes me wonder if Toyota has a reason for NOT having the grid visible on the Prius.
