Lord knows we shouldn't expect people to use mirrors in this day and age. I've had my G2 for 6 months now and I still don't ever use the backup camera.

Mirrors cannot see around the back of your vehicle. The fisheye camera in back can.

Mirrors cannot see in the dark. The night-vision design of the camera in back can.

If you aren't using those safety features...

I'm not, and yet I haven't backed into a single thing.

  5. Any chance that they'll make back-up cam heaters when snow/ice gets on them?

If headlights can have wipers, I'm sure this will come to some cars.

Or go the VW way and hide it behind the emblem. It pops out when the car is shifted into reverse.
