goes to show that these lists are simply an opinion poll and nothing else. sure real data is crunched, but different data sets and unique ways of weighting the data makes these polls very subjective.

personally, i like the poll that came out less than a month ago that touted Seattle as the healthiest. (Houston was last)

i notice that (if that is what they are) previous rankings listed both cities as "best" in their catagory.

And on that stream of consciousness:

"So. You like donuts, huh? Well, then. Have all the donuts in the world!"

How Baltimore goes from the #25 fattest to #1 fittest and L.A. from #21 fittest to #3 fattest in the span of one year is beyond my comprehension. So, yeah, it sure seems whacked, alright.

Perhaps folks in Baltimore began working out in frenzies after finding out they were on the list at #25 fattest and folks in LA saw they were on the 'fittest' list and felt that it then gave them license to eat eat eat all they wanted and forgo the gym for a long while??

Ah the Simpsons Ironic Punishment Deluxe Box Figure Set. Every child in America, nay, every person in America needs one. Great find Bookrats. I wonder if I can find a Prius mod to mount it to dash so that I can add it to my signature.

Like the Prius, the Ironic Punishment Delux Box Figure Set is a masterpiece of engineering. From the brochure:

"Turn the crank handle and the donuts fall right into Homer's mouth, then drop out behind the chair for re-stacking."

Not scatalogically correct, but more pleasant. :)
