Could amy member please advise me how many miles could I travel under battery power only ( assuming battery is fully charged and travelling speed at or under 30 miles per hour) before the battery is exhausted.
    many thanks, Rob

I would say the most you could travel would be 2-3 miles. Since your vehicle is a 2010 they changed the software to be more conservative so I may be off a bit. With my 2004 I know I can go at least 2 miles @ 30 MPH. Bottom line, I doubt you'd go further than 3 miles. Even though the battery still has juice it is protected by the software to prevent it from going below a certain threshold. This preserves battery longevity.

Depends greatly on traffic. If you are stuck in traffic with air con on then you won't have much miles before your battery is depleted.

Another way to think about it is that your HV battery contains about the same usable power as three tablespoons of gasoline.
