My hybrid battery has given me the P0A80 error code just one year after I replaced it. I found out that my control module has a recall on it. I wonder whether my battery last year failed for the same reason.
Do you know if Prius would help replace the battery due to the recall on the BCM? Also, I wonder how long I can drive my car without having to replace the battery (can't really afford a new one right now). Thank you all for your input.

P0A80 - makes me think you didn't replace your failed battery with a new one. If you replaced it with a refurbished battery, then the battery can definitely fail again in 1 year
