Michelin Primacy MXM4 is top of their line for comfort/noise. I just bought mine; definitely soft padded ride, but still good handling (no wallowing). Also rated better in rain, ice and snow than the energy savers. On the other hand, the energy savers are top of the line for mpgs, and are still rated pretty high for ride and handling (but not for rain, ice and snow).

Is this a brand new 2013, and you're looking to swap out the tires to something with a comfort edge? If so, seems an expensive endeavor.

The OEM 195/65R15 tires will give you decent ride quality, and are invariably chosen for Low Rolling Resistance. If you swap for something billed as a "comfort" tire, you'll likely take a mpg hit.

Maybe just drive it for a while, 'till the urge passes? ;)

thx to all! sounds like the Primacy might be the bee's knees.
has anyone heard of or had Prius experience with the Hanook Ventus V12?
get's good props on basic web search i.e. for 'comfort and quiet'.
