best way to remove ink spot from cloth seat

    A passenger must have ridden in the back seat
    with a pen in his rear pocket. Now I have a black
    ink spot on my brand-new seat :angry:

    What's the best way to get rid of the spot?

    Alcantaro a similar microfabric recommends the following.

    "Ballpoint pens, felt-tip pen To be dissolved with ethyl alcohol, dabbing, posttreatment with detergent solution, rinsing. "

    Even with the literal translation you can get the general idea.

    Try dabbing with lighter fluid on cotton cloth. This has been used for years in the clothing industry.
