    As the 2010 bluebird nesting season comes to a close I thought I would share the slideshow my Girl Scout intern created to detail her experience with the project. We counted a total of 178 baby birds fledged this year. :)

    My oldest daughter will love this. She LOVES animals (she's quite the budding naturalist) and she's a girl scout too.

    They (the kids) get so much out of these projects. You should have seen all the Boy Scouts we had out at one of our Preserves this summer. They were ripping out old barbed-wire like seasoned pros by the end of he day and they were proud of the 2-ton pile of scrap they worked out of the ground!

    bluebirds do rock:rockon:, had one in my barn the other day, so beautiful up close, but he was not happy as i kept trying to shoe him out the door along with a hummingbird.
    great job on the video, you are blessed to live and work in such a beautiful area!

    They are indeed beautiful! What do you keep in the barn that would attract the unlikely duo? lol

    wish i was savvy enought to be able to take pix and post them like many do here, i'm stuck in the stone age, can barely make this laptop work. still getting messages from the priuschat virus a few weeks ago!:eek:
