Black Sharkfin Antenna Paint

Hey everyone,

I've been lurking here awhile since I ordered my '08 Prius and decided to finally post.

I installed XM in my car and routed it through the roof hole where the factory antenna is. Thank you to everyone who posted guides and pictures of their installs. They were all really helpful.

I ordered a black sharkfin antenna from Visual Garage through PC. It came in yesterday and I just installed it. I looks beautiful on the car and the color is a perfect match BUT it doesn't seem like there is any clear coat on the antenna. The finish is not as glossy as the rest of the car and although it doesn't stand out, the difference is noticeable if you look for it.

Has anyone else who ordered a black sharkfin for a black prius noticed any similar differences in paint finish?

I can take a picture and post it later if necessary.
