Anyone know of a good stick on blind spot convex mirror that fits the contours of the Prime side view mirrors?
If you move the mirrors so that you cannot see the side of the car they should pick up anything approaching you from either side.
I ordered these for my prime. The circular mirrors look awful so I'm gonna peal em off when the new ones come in. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01HEC3O0Y/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I always avoid the Uber and Lyft drivers who use those because I know they are the worst drivers. Like everyone said, if you are looking at the same thing with your three mirrors, you're doing it wrong.
Indeed, but I still do anyway; not much reason not to. However, I've been thinking about getting one of those, cutting it into quarters, and putting the lower-left quarter on the bottom right of the right-side mirror, and similarly the lower-right quarter on the outer-bottom edge of the left-side mirror. The goal would be to help me see parking-place stripes, or to a lesser degree, highway lane markings. iPhone ? Pro
Check out the CarTalk (Klick&Klack (a.k.a. TheChuckleBrothers)) web-site for advice on how to set up the rear-view mirrors (…it's about the only useful thing to be learned from them in the 35 or so years I've been listening to their show) which started of as a really useful source of information, but as it became oh so popular and after it became syndicated, the quality of the information decreased as the chuckles and giggles increased! (…sigh!)
Plus of course I can see the lane stripes ahead of me, whereas parking-place stripes quasi-disappear as I enter the parking space. Thus the "to a lesser degree." iPhone ? Pro
They're not expensive and it's easy to switch between looking at the two mirrors. Just make sure you put them on carefully because they're not going anywhere when you place them. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
