Aviation video of Boeing's two newest aircraft, for the Paris air show:

Dramatic video shows Boeing’s two new flight-test airplanes showing off

Notes from a previous video indicate that, while steep, the takeoffs were not as steep as they appear. Careful use of perspective enhanced the appearance. But they were well outside the normal range of use, with very lightly loaded vessels.

Impressive video. I've been on a couple of flights where the pilot was a bit of a cowboy. One time while approaching and another time while in a holding pattern - made for some exciting experiences. Woohoo!

Former Navy pilots are always fun as sometimes they try to engage the tail hook. Less a landing, more an arrival.

I like those new two-pronged winglets on the 737. They're similar to the ones launched on the A380plus the other day. I'm sure there's some very clever aerodynamics involved, but they do also look cool.
