    I saw the website and thought "I am kind of lucky to live and work in such a place".

    Just imagine renting a nice cottage in the dales, the local pub a few doors down, a couple weeks available to idly while away, maybe taking the car and exploring or go hiking. The beautiful coast only an hours drive east (Whitby) or west, but remember we drive on the correct side of the road ;)

    Roatan, Honduras... just got back two weeks ago from an incredible 9 days on the West Bay. White sand beaches, incredible snorkling, sunny days, fresh seafood every night... it was bliss!

    Not very far - about 75 miles or an hour and a half driving up the motorway. Mansfield isn't far away (20 miles?) from the Derbyshire Peak District which is also a rather beautiful area.

    If you're visiting Mansfield I'd recommend a trip to both as well as the city of York. York is definitely worth a visit, but use the park and ride service they offer - you really do not want to drive into the city if you can help it. The 1000 year old narrow streets were not designed for cars. :eek:
