Any cool features I should look into? I have scanned a bunch of threads but nothing really jumps out at me.

one feature i always forget about, and doesn't seem to get much attention is the automatic grille shutters.

It only gets attention whenever somebody implies Gen 4 users should block the grill in the winter.

    Welcome to 50+ mpg!
It is a relatively a fun, trouble free, car to drive.
Quieter compared to previous models. Better handling, less body roll in turns than previous models.

Owners here tend to be in two groups: Hyper-milers try to get the most mpg on every drive.
The rest: Just fill up when needed, use power mode, when needed, enjoy the 50+mpg average.
My model 4 didn't come with the DRL/Fogs, like the model 3.
I, and others added OEM or after market lights to the front.
Others added after market fenders, rims, tires to personalize their cars.

I like to think I'm in between those two extremes, it makes me feel good to try for good mpg, just not to the nth degree.

You also forgot those "ricers" who are bent on customizing, sometimes to the extreme. May of them have a Gen 3 Prius.
We also have couple of good engineers.
bwilson4web has had an early Gen1 Prius. He currently has an early Gen 3 Prius & a BMW i3REX which is a plugin with a motorcycle engine as a range extender. He is in negotiations to buy a Prius prime plugin and will likely take delivery early next year. He focuses on measurement, evaluation, and optimization
Bill the Engineer is in the midst of an ambitious project he calls the "Firebrid". He is placing a 1967 Pontiac Firebird convertible body on a Prius v chassis.

Hello and congratulations on your car choice. I have a similar spec, but in UK, a business edition without satnav. There are lots of things you'll get to love and a few you'll find niggling, so my advice would be to have an open mind and discover for yourself as you go along. Drive it like a regular car even though it certainly isn't! Best to avoid thinking too much about what's going on under the hood and with the wiggly-amps (electrics). You should find after refueling a couple of times the average mpg is steadying and, hopefully you'll be delighted at the fuel savings you'll be making. Anyway keep us posted with all your news and results, even problems if you should get any. Folks here are always ready and willing to help. (y)
