Seems like kind of a big story, but since it didn't happen in the US or somewhere we care about you're unlikely to see it on our news. The basic editorial policy of us news is "if it didn't happen in the US (or Iraq) it ain't news. news.independent.co.uk/europe/article2798512.ece

It's a huge scandal, that has been going on for many years. Fortunately, those innocent people are finally free, after years of imprisonment and torture.

And this is supposed to be one of our new "allies".

Good news indeed. They've been there since 1999, right? Imprisoned for 8 years. I'm glad for them. News in the last few weeks sounded promising.

    Exactly.

Any foreigner who agrees to work in Lybia is just opening themselves up to becoming a political pawn. But Lybia has oil, and the western countries will kiss qadafi's nice person.
