Hot news: the Bush administration is going to hit North Korea where it hurts: NO MORE iPods!

    http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/2006-11-...-ipod-ban_x.htm

This will get their attention, the swine! And you left-wingers said Bush has no global strategy!

Now what can we ban from Iraq that will get them to the table?

I don't understand. Their people are poorer than dirt. What kind of a market for iPods could possibly be there...and if there was one, why not just get what you needed from South Korea?

The idea isn't to hurt the people, who can't afford the luxury items on the ban list... instead, it's to hurt the political elite, who routinely get these types of items as gifts from Kim Jong Il - the idea is to try to destabilize his base of power.

There must be a real crisis over there then. How can KJI's power base continue without new Ipods? The whole country must be on the verge of collapse.

Now they'll have to import them from China like everyone else.
