Buying my frist Prius II (and frist car)

Hi all,

First of all, this forum is immensivily cool!

Now the thing is i have found this second generation prius with only 97000 km (60k miles) , year 2005, for a good price (approx. 13300 $) and i realy want to buy it.

It has some minor bodywork damage i can fix for minimal cost.
But the truth is that i have no clue what the typical prius things are i have to look out for in terms of colsty or even irreparable issues it can have. If someone could point these out or give me a link to a other thread this would be greatly appreciated.

A other question i have is, how easy is it to temper with the milage count of the car. Could anybody do it with eas? Or is this not even possible. I ask this becasue it will be a private transaction, so without any garantees.
