I posted a drive inquiry in the SF Forum and received one response there.

Reading through the threads in that forum gives me the impression that getting people together might be tough. I'm game though. Should be OK if we can 2 or three other people besides us.

It seems like when there is one planned, I am out of town! After this month I have no preplanned trips (as of today), and would love to plan something!

I'm trying to get the San Diego Prius Club to take a tour to Los Angeles to the Peterson Automotive Museum. Through October they're having an exhibit on Alternative Power (aka Propulsion After Petroleum).

I'd love to do that. The last time I saw Sev (which was quite some time ago) I mentioned I'd love to take a drive to the Peterson. The San Diego Club often merges with the Orange County Club for things. (We did Meguiars with them, they came to the Ford Alternative Fuel Center with us.)

Just keep in mind many of us work. So if you arrange for the Peterson in October on a week day, you aren't going to get as large a response.

That sounds like fun too. Any way the PriusClub SD can come along? It would be cool if the parking lot of the theater had enough space for us all to park together in rows. Maybe have lunch or dinner before or after?

There are five theaters within 100 miles of San Diego showing "Who Killed the Electric Car?" But who knows how long it will be playing?

I want to see the "who killed the electric car" documentary as well. I am in Manhattan Beach, CA. Saturdays are best for me.

Just won a ticket to a preview of "Who Killed the Electric Car?" at the Landmark in San Diego so I won't have to drive to L.A. to see it. KPBS was doing a giveaway to the first 100 people to e-mail them. Preview is Tuesday so I expect the film will open after that.

Wonder how many Prii will be in the parking lot?

    I'm wearing my T-shirt!
