I recently had my cabin air filter changed at dealer at their recommendation.
After viewing a 'how to' on U-tube, I noticed that my new filter that was installed did not sit in a tray like the video indicated. I brought this up to my dealer and he said that the 2010 cabin filters didnt have trays. IT just sits in the void behind the cover. Is this true?
I contacted Toyota but they apologized and kicked it back to the dealership.

    Thanks

Yes, there is no tray. The Owner's Manual shows this on pages 457-459. There is a filter cover that comes off and the filter slides into a shelf above the fan and then the cover is replaced.
