    mpg = 45 for me.. i have no savings.. this is dumb... doesn't consider local... doesn't consider that if i did have premium that there would be a gas price difference...

    This is hysterical! Over 10 years, it would cost me $1,825 to drive the Honda. Pfft!

    I love my Prius!!!

    I feel really bad now. Gas is 1.50$/L here (5.68$/US gallon) and the calculator doesn't let you enter a value higher than 5.00$/gallon US

    Silly calculator. It doesn't know about hypermiling :D . Breaking 60mpg on the highway in an HCH is cake. There's a small but real chance that my FE would be better than my 54mpg Prius average if I had bought that instead due to a heavy bias toward highway driving overall.

    Of course, I would be cursing about the lack of cargo volume at least once a week. The world is a better place without me getting grumpy every time I want to haul something big.
