my best friend gave me the old stereo from their prius and i wanted to know if its possible to install it in another car. its a 86140-52110 with the extension box on the bottom. I have a non prius camera i could use as a back up camera. is this even worth doing, and if so, what would i need to get to make this happen?

It's not worth your time. It's a cheap radio to begin with, and will require lots of hard work to get right.

It has all the same basic connections as any other car radio. Power, ground, antenna, speakers, and a few more. You could connect wires, and it would play music. But mounting it, figuring out which wires do what, it's going to take a lot of work, for a lousy solution. Sell it on eBay and get a better head unit
