I've heard that the nav DVD is under the driver's side seat. If so, has anyone tried putting a DVD movie in to see if it plays? Is there any other way to play a DVD on the MFD (with or without the nav option)?

Since there will be an AUX in on the 2006 models, any chance of a cable that would feed not only audio but video to the MFD?

The short answer is no not today, maybe not at all. You can use one of the various video conversion boxes and a small DVD player and see movies on the screen.

And no, the aux input on the 2006 is audio only.

I don't remember, can the Japanese Prius play DVDs or is it only OTA TV?
