    Hello,

I have had my prius since 2002 and I have pover 200,000 miles on it. I have never had to jump my car but when I came back from Los Angeles my car at home the battery was dead. How do I jump this Prius.

    Thanks,

    Waylon

I could tell you on a 2004+ model: there's a metal post under a red cap in the fuse box for the + connection, the — connection is chassis to chassis. I'm not sure about the 2002, but thought I'd reply to bump your question up and maybe you'll get a useful response. The procedure should be in your manual if you still have that.

By the way, Welcome to PriusChat!

John1701a also drove a 2001 Prius until the 2004 became available. Check his web site (http://john1701a.com) (there is no "www" in his URL). He's got a wealth of information there. If you don't find the answer, you could write to him directly. He has made an avocation out of promoting the Prius.
