Can I buy a new hood latch trigger spring or do I need a whole new hood latch?

The hood on my gen two wouldn't close properly

After taking it apart I noticed the larger spring inside of the latch had rusted and broke

I've seen entire latch assemblies on Amazon for like 20 bucks. However I just need the spring and it'll work

I can't find one specific to a gen 2 Prius on eBay or Amazon... So it's making me wonder if maybe they all use similar ones?

If someone could direct me where to look I'd appreciate it.

Look here to find the original part numbers: TOYOTA PRIUSNHW20L-AHEEBW - BODY - HOOD LOCK HINGE | Japan Parts EU

As they exist, there also should be the separate springs to buy.
If you don't find them to buy anywhere and have to improvise, I would say, that WD is the wire diameter in mm and CW maybe the number if windings. Similar springs should show a similar characteristic. Screenshot_20200412-043316_Firefox.jpg Screenshot_20200412-043604_Firefox.jpg
