Can I get a Solar Panel Kit & A Plug in to co-exsist with my HSD?

    Short answer: NO

    Long answer: sort of. You can't easily charge the 'traction' or 'HV' battery with an exterior charger. I.E. the PV would invert their 24 or 48V output to 201.6V and know the SOC of the battery... Not going to happen very cheaply or easily. Next to that, you'd need about 1 square meter per kW of space to capture enough energy to make it truly worthwhile. You can add smaller PV arrays to the 12v system with ease but the amount of captured energy isn't likely to amount to much.

    If you really want to use PV, get a pure electric car... then you could use the PV panels mounted on your homes roof to charge your car. Like Darelldd (http://www.evnut.com/)

    Better answer: It's not worth doing, except as a stunt or technology exercise. You are better off using a PV array on your house at home.
