    HI guys,
I'm new owner of Prius 3rd gen. I just got this 2weeks ago.
After test driving for 2 weeks, I knew that starting speed is low, handling is a little bit heavy for the first start drive under 50km/h. So I consider to replace original tire 195 65 r15 with 195 60 r15. Only considering change from 65series to 60series. Is that possible?

I surely know, the speed meter show some different gap compare to actual speed as well as driving distances.
What I'm really concern is that ABS brake system which could be dangerous malfunction.

What do you think for replace tire 195 65 r15 with 195 60 r15 for Prius 3rd gen?

    Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't do it. The Prius rides rough enough on the 195/65 tires. I use Tire Rack to compare manufacturers' stated revolutions per mile for compatibility. The 195/60 is a tad over 3% smaller. If your priority is the low-profile look, I would buy a set of 17" OE wheels and the OE-sized tires for them. The ride will suffer. So will the fuel mileage. FWIW, 205/60-15 is about half-way between the 195/60 and 195/65.
