I just bought a 2010 Prius and the odometer displays miles only, not tenths of a mile. Is this the way it is or is it settable?

I believe it is only whole miles if you need tenths you would have to look at the Trip A or B display.

I don't think you can set the Odometer any other way.

When following Mapquest directions, I use 'trip A'. which does display tenths, and I reset it after each turn.

As far as I remember every car that I have owned (back to my beloved 1978 Volvo 245DL) has displayed miles only for the odometer and has had tenths of a mile on the tripometer. It kind of makes sense as the odometer is really to track total miles driven for government or resale purposes - a few tenths of a mile either way really do not matter. The only difference was that before they became digital you used to have both visible at the same time (one on top of the other).
