Can someone confirm there was no OEM sunroof on 04 - 09

    Hi thanks in advance,

    Can a Prius expert please confirm there was never an OEM sunroof option on the 04 - 09 Prius?

    I believe they were only port installed on select cars during high demand times, but not positive.

    There was no OEM sunroof for 2004-2009 Gen II Prius.

    And I don't think there were any "port installed" sunroofs.

    But some people (like me) and some dealers put on aftermarket sunroofs.

    Boo is correct. No OEM sunroof on the Gen II.

    No OEM sunroof and I've even had 2 aftermarket guys in San Diego tell me they wouldn't do an aftermarket because of the multiple curved roof and low headroom in the back seats.

    I understand that MANY San Diego area Gen II Prius owners have put in aftermarket sunroofs, and that American Sunroof Corporation will install them. See Silverstreak05's old post about this:
