With the help of Norm Dick, inventor of CAN-View, and a few other people, Gary Morris & I have recorded and analyzed Prius II data.

For some of the results to date, see http://www.roperld.com/science/prius/triprecords.pdf .

I am working on an Excel spreadsheet in which any CAN-View user can copy the CSV file created by Gary's program to get automatic analysis. When it is ready, I will add a reply to this message.

Hey don't be sad Can View works without the NAV! Unless you have an 06 you are in the club!

    Whoa is me, 2006 package #3. :(

I will have real time temps, even if I install gauges and sensers somewhere.

You could try ScanGage for some non Hybrid data. RPM, Coolant temp etc. It is not the CAN View but it is cheaper and it is generic.

Related to this, I'm assuming everybody has also seen the Oak Ridge National Laboratory's (DoE)'s evaluation of the 2004 Toyota Prius Hybrid Electric Drive System, Interim Report.
