Can you get a simple Prius?

    My wife and I are new to Prius buying, but have been discouraged. We're trying to buy a "simple" car, but the first two models delivered to our dealer (Yokem Toyota in Shreveport, Louisiana) have been a BC model and a model stuffed full of extras (leather seating, etc...).

    Has anyone in our area been able to buy a relatively unequipped model? More generally, has anyone in our area been able to order a specific package? (Our dealer will not let us "order" a Prius --- just accept or decline whatever comes to the lot).
