I’ve removed the front bumper and the 4 screws that hold the old turn light assembly to the two black slides at top and bottom. But I can’t get the old assembly free from the black components. How do I get it to release?
It seems the one black part should slide with the old assembly and the other black part is a tab from the bumper. I can’t find a drawing, video, or instructions anywhere. Any ideas?

Illustrated instructions for removal and installation are in the Repair Manual, available by subscription to techinfo.toyota.com. The text and illustrations are also available in the ChiltonLibrary service, to which your local public library may sponsor free access.

The 2010 repair manual mentions taking off one nut and there are three guides to remove the assembly. Don't know if they changed it for the 2015 model year.
