Can't eject all cd

    I try to press eject for long but cd won't eject please help me

    The CD player in 04 and 05 Prii is a poor design. I replaced my OE one with a salvage one only to find that that one developed similar problems. My solution was to have a good car stereo shop put in a Pioneer replacement stereo for about $250. The only downside is that the MFD no longer controls the 3rd party stereo (could be partially fixed for another $100 or so).

    You can get the CD out with tweezers. just be careful not to scratch the CD as you pull it out.

    Hi Vanne, does the CD player still otherwise work. Like will it still play the CD that is stuck in there. If so then for your sake I sure hope it isn't this one: Bob Kames - Chicken Dance CD Album

    It doesn't work Just cd seek display and it not hear anything and the cd number 3 loading but not play

    Ok, so it's probably more than just the eject mechanism that's broken. You're probably best off to tey to replace the whole unit as jdenenburg suggested.
