So i posted a little bit ago with problems. It sounded like it was a inverter pump. I got a new one and put it in. The car started and ran. 2 weeks later im driving and lose all acceleration. I stop and turn of the car. When i start it back up the car stays on in idle. Engine is on and everything, but when i press the gas nothing.when i put it in drive it dies right away. Anyone else have this problem. I have a 2006 prius. I dont know if this mattets but i did run out of gas a week or so ago. My cluster is out so sometimes i miss the gas. The car is full on gas now so that is fine. Thank You for any help.

There should be error codes that have been stored... An auto parts store can read them for you... Or you can install an OBD2reader and use Dr. Prius App to see some, but not all of the error codes. Learn more here: Hybrid battery diagnostic and repair tool for Toyota and Lexus

Try cleaning your throttle body and maf sensor.

P3190 poor engine power is bad news, if it's not charging your hv battery, it can drain and not start the engine. I'm guessing you're probably at 1 bar remaining on your hv battery SOC

It's true. The HV cranks the engine. That takes energy.

What do you think starts the engine? It’s not the 12v, it’s the traction battery (the big one). If it’s not recharging at all then it will get to a point where it can’t start the engine. Like JC asks, how many bars are left on the battery monitor? Does the arrow show power going to the battery at all?
