My 2008 Prius has been sitting since May. Yesterday I went to drive it and battery was dead. I tried to jump it but had no luck so I replaced the battery. Now the lights and radio work but car still will not start. On the screen it shows a battery in red that says main battery and another red symbol that looks like a car with something throught the middle of it.
Hope someone can help me diagnose my problum.

If your HV battery is original from 2008, it most likely has discharged and is out of balance. You may need a new one.

Best to read the codes to determine the fault. Did you by chance, remove the orange interlock on the HV battery and reinstalled it?
